Spark plug wires shorting out. #1 will reach TDC at both the compression stroke and the exhaust stroke. Difference being that at TDC of the exhaust strke, the rotor will be 180 degrees off when you pull the cap. Hence the 4 stroke engine. Intake, compression, power and exhaust.
