The governor one my 640 had been working and then suddenly stopped. I do not remember
any decline in performance, I had been using it to back blade snow by the garage doors last winter so it never worked hard then.
This summer it was not working when I tried a mower.
The governor is the fly weight type and we can find no problems with it when we took it apart. Everything looks like new, we can find no wear areas and it moves freely.
Any ideas on what we can look for??
The sudden failure and no broken parts has me confused.
