Geez - oil pressure - that demon. Oil pressure is created by forcing oil through holes and passages too small to let it flow freely. Low oil pressure can be caused by too little oil being pumped or too big of holes. Thicker oil will need bigger holes and may increase oil pressure but don't fix squat. There is no way to fix low oil pressure without fixing the cause. There is no way I know of to know the cause without dis assembly and measurement. Your pump may be bad to cause low oil pressure, or you bearings may be bad. If thick oil seems to solve the problem most often the problem is bearing wear, but even that statement is playing odds becuz thick oil pumps better.
