Ford 951 Special brush cutter

Fellow down my way has one of these for sale fairly cheap because the center bar was broken and improperly repaired. I couldn't find this model in the manuals section. Anyone know anything about it before I go out to take a look. It is a "brush cutter" and not a "finish mower" right?
