6 V Single Wire Generator Rebuild --Pics

Last week when using my 1944 2N front mount 6 vDC generator belt started squeeling. It quieted down after a short bit but then I started smelling burnt rubber. Jumped off and found the belt was just spinning on the pulley and it was smoking hot.

Tore down tonight but not sure how to get the pulley off? I am assuming pressed.

Are the brass bushings still available?

It looks like the windings on the stator are oily, can I use contact cleaner and "wash" those without any harm?

This is a single wire generator, I am thinkking Type B?
