Kevin, you may be able to shed light for others in the months to come, as some who would do what you have done, are reluctant, given all the stories about the 6V EI having problems during cold starts when voltage drops down around 4.5volts. So for all the 'I would do it, but' readers, please update all with your winter experiences. I'm sure there are those who will be looking forward to your 'first hand' experience.
