OK here's what I've done so far.
1. Put in brand new spark plugs. Gapped them at .025.
2. Removed carb drain bolt. Steady stream of gas coming out for over 30 seconds.
3. Set idle mix screw at 1 1/2 turns as you recommended.
4. Checked for spark by grounding a plug against the block. Neither #3 or #4 produced a spark using a brand new plug. I tried both the .025 and 1/4" gap. Neither sparked.I didn't check #1 or #2 plug wires.
5. Next I was going to jump the ignition switch but I don't have the tools to do it.
It'll turn over and over but still won't start.
