Hi, I am going to try the timing again although I have spark the static timing may not be set correctly. I don't get any pop or sign of any ignition in the cylinder. The interior of the distributor including the rotor and the mounting plate move when the engine is rotated although it is seated in the slot correctly. It provides spark and the rotor is not hitting the cap so maybe I am being to critical about the alignment as I do not have another engine to compare it to. If I have to pull the front off the engine I will be getting involved in grinding the crank pulley off and attempting to repair the broken bolt in the end of the crankshaft. If any one has had experience with repairing/replacing the bolt or getting it out I would appreciate some input. Just now I would like to hear the engine run if possible to access its quality to consider restoration or parting out. Thanks Jim
