Yes, but I have dug up somewhere that I need a minimum of 115 lbs on the system....."The check valve is a one-way valve designed to hold hydraulic oil in the lift cylinder when the lift arms are in the raised position. The check valve operates only during the raising cycle. A pressure of approximately 115 psi is required to unseat the check valve, allowing hydraulic oil to flow into the lift cylinder......to overcome check valve pressure....not sure I am getting that there with fingers holding back the bleed air so to speak.

Might have to take a leap of faith and finish the assembly of this beast. I have noticed with the lift arms elevated off dead bottom that the stickiness on the quadrant control goes away as well.
