After sitting all winter while I got the starter rebuilt and re-installed, I started it up and the oil pressure was low (10 psi)at idle, plus it was not steady. I only
ran it a few seconds with the low pressure. The oil level was OK on the dipstick and had been changed not long before I parked it last fall so the oil is clean.
Could the oil pump have los its prime & how do you re-prime it if so? Any ideas?
