Like Bruce, I also have an oxy act set up and a Lincoln stick welder. Mine is 220 volts, both work great. But if I were you I would take a course at your local CC. You will learn a lot and will be in a better position to know what will work best for you! Then got craigslist and you will find what will work for you.
