I don't think you will find any welder for under $200.00. About 6 years ago I bought my son a Lincoln wire feed for $350.00,the cheapest they had was $250.00 but I wouldn't recommend it. He has welded some pretty heavy stuff with it buy grinding a grove and making multiple passes. That's costly and time consuming if you have to do it very often. A couple years ago he bought a "buzz Box" at an auction for about $50.00 and he now uses that for the heavy stuff. For general all purpose welding use 6013 rod. Before anything,take the welding course!!!!!
