i have a naa 53 that seems to be having some hydraulic problems. i start the tractor and it won't lift and after running for about 5-8 minutes then it finally lifts but once it does then it goes up and down perfectly fine so it seems like it is loosing the prime, and also when it is fully raised it pulsates slightly about once a second (up and down just slightly). i don't have any external leaks and the fluid is full but dirty so i decided to drain the hydraulic fluid and pulled the right side inspection plate with dipstick tube off and it was very dirty almost greenish so i couldn't get my hand inside so i poured 1/2 gallon of diesel fuel in and took a long brush and scrubbed the bottom and redrained and did that a second time and flushed all out now it looks very clean inside and refilled with new fluid an run and still does the same problems. i have read many of the manuals and it sounds like there is many things that could be bad and i am wondering what can i do or should i do to narrow the problems down and get them fixed and also is there anything else i should do to the system while i am in there as a preventative repair??? my tractor has the piston type pump also.
thanks for all the help.
