About that manual... We were given the manual for the 8n. The manual you list in your message says it's "I&T F04 for the 9N, 2N, and 8N tractors." If we have the 8N book, and the 8N is covered in your listed manual, what is the difference? I'm confused.
Also, I found a video that said that an easy way to tell the difference between the 9N and the 2N is an I-beam was replaced with a tubular beam http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7EKtFWQD1c. Also, that 2N was impressed in the metal under the Ford script.
Well, we have the I-beam, and there is no 2N under our Ford script.
