Common thing that happens when installing pistons is the rod bolts hit or tick the rod journel and the nick on the crank gouges in to the brg. loosen one rod at a time to find a tight rod brg. I assume the caps are on the right rod. always use a cover on rod bolts when installing. If it is mains being tight, loosen I main at a time to see the tight one. Also the oil ring can fold over when installing and will create a scratch in the cyl. and turn hard, In the end there should be no drag on the crank except a little drag from the seals.
