Be sure to use assembly lube.
I also oil the rings, pistons, and cylinders with 20 weight oil, and put a little in each cylinder once assembled. Turning it over might be tight, but should be smooth.
Be sure to prime the oil galley. (see how to's section). If the starter will turn it, it should be OK. I usually crank the motor enough without spark plugs to see if the oil pressure will come up on the gauge. HTH...S.
