This is directed at Tim Daley but input from all is more than welcome. I have restored a Dearborn 22-44 Cordwood saw and have a question, I thought when you lower the saw from the transport position the belt tightens on the pully allowing operation. This is not the case with mine, belt tension remains the same up or down.
Am I missing a step in operation? I don't know of anyone with a cordwood saw close to me other than Tim Daley. All thoughts would be appreciated!
Tom
