The belt is the stated length from the manual (can't recall the exact measurement) but same as the old belt. Yes I did use the adjustment bolts, the belt is not taut but snugged up enough so there's no slippage, I have a steel pully on the tractor and the fiber type on the saw.
Lonestarjeff mentioned the three point bracket nbeing mounted in the bottom holes of the belt pully. Mine is mounted in the top holes as this is where I saw it mounted in one of the posted photo's. I may go back through the archives to check again.
I'd just like to get the saw usable as intended, if Jeff has the answer then the problem is solved!
