I have a 1950 side mount 8N that a PO installed 9/2N front hubs. He cut off several of the lugs dilled holes to proper spacing and installed what appears to me to be old VW car rims with snow grips. The guy I got the tractor from said he had it for 20 years and car rims and the same snow grips were on there when he bought it. Snow grips are still in great shape. This is my lawn mower. With the snow grips on the front and almost smooth ag tires on the rear it does not mess up the lawn much when making turns.
