It's been so long since I worked with it (and my memory is so poor) I do not remember just what the problem was. There is a box shape, fabricated from square tubing, which bolts to the end of the cross shaft. It is 3" inches across The control arm connects to a tear drop shaped flat metal with a diameter of 3" on the large end. I have a 3" cork on that tear drop piece. It rubs on the box. I remember I considered cutting a piece of steel, 3 " in diameter and putting a second cork on it. Now I'm wondering if a piece of leather glued on the box might not work better. I have found my drawing of the individual parts but do not have an assemble drawing or picture at this time.
