Your the Hot Rod engineer :)
You tell me! (LOL)

This was just perhaps something I have read somewhere along the way. It was my understanding the 134 fluid was not up to the same standards as the GL-1. The wife occasionally uses the old machine in the off season and GL-1 is a bit thick to get the hydraulics running. The wife's Fergy is running the forbidden 15/40 if memory holds.
Yeah, another don't do it routine due to the 15/40 heavy duty oil keeping sludge in suspension and not allowing it to setle to the botom and possibly gumming up the works.
PHOOEY! I have gotten tired of reading all the not this, not that routine and figured the diesel oil would work well enough for me at this time.
Glad to read of your retirement awhile back from the W&M dept.
Mine is another, her telling me 4, me saying 6 years away. Or could get tired of it all and chuck it anytime.
