Hello everyone...so happy to find this page! I've been reading the forums for a couple of days, but still have unanswered questions.
Dad and I just bought a used 9n 2n after we lost our '47 Farmall in a fire. :( Anyway, we're having a problem with the left brake/clutch. The clutch seems to work fine, but the left brake had to be manually LIFTED to make it release. (that was no fun, backing out of the barn at THAT speed, let me tell ya!) We both think that the set up of the two pedals is weird. Are the two pedals supposed to work simultaneously? The guy who sold us the tractor gave us an 8N book, and we haven't got the correct one yet. Should we adjust the clutch, brake, or both? Am I right in thinking that the pedals have a very narrow window where the clutch engages/disengages at the same time the brake does? We would really like to use the tractor, as we have a LOT of work waiting! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance,
