You may have a brake return spring broken on the left side.Adjust the clutch and left brake as Mark has said so the clutch releases then as you push the clutch down more the left brake is applied.You can attach a tarp strap to the left brake petal at the loop up to fender ect. to pull the petal up till you have time to replace that broken return spring.
