The reply to governor though leaves me with more ??
Is the answer a 2 part check or rather is it 2 different checks?
I looked up some info on it before and it said to check the gov. first move the hand throttle down slowly and the rpm,s should go up within the first 3rd or so of the throttle, mine does not go up until I get all the way down. So that seems to be a fail to me. But I am not sure.
Second it said to pull on linkage connecting the carb to throttle and see if it pulls back which it does fine.
The 3rd check evades me but I did not do it as the first 2 confused me with the results.
What does this mean?
