Howdy! Hey just wanted to let you all know how I made out with the leak repair of the piston pump on the NAA. I took it apart and discovered the big gaskets had some bad spots on them. Not sure why. I ordered new gaskets, got them put in and got the head torgued down. Put the pump back on. I ran it for about 30 minutes and even went thru the garden spot with a cultivator and no leak was apparent. Oh man! Am I happy, happy. The piston pump should work a little stronger than the old vane pump. Knock on wood. The vane pump was weak and did not like picking up my disc.

On another note, I installed the spin-on oil filter adapter and the new filter for it only to have it leak badly. I took the filter off and tightened the adapter some more and so far I don't see oil coming out. Hope that solves that. Knock on wood.

Thanks again guys for all your input on both the piston pump leak and the spin-on oil filter questions I had. Much appreciated. Thank you all.
