Folks, it turns out that this demo shenanigan is much more involved than most know.
The corrupt Peltola campaign hired a high paid demo operative from Illinios to create the deception campaign. A list of everyone living in Alaska named Dan Sullivan was compiled and the Dan Sullivan from Petersburg was selected to implement the skulduggery (probably because he agreed and/or was compensated).
The New York Slimes broke the story a couple of days ago but only after most of the voting in Alaska had already been done, early and by mail as is most common in Alaska. By this time, the cat was already out of the bag due to admissions from former member(s) of Peltolas staff that she had alieniated so the Slimes had little choice.
Worse, the Slimes had the information months ago but sat on it until revelation would be of little if any damage to demos. It's who they are. It's what they do.
