As a legitimate immigrant to the US in 1968, I am appalled by the lack of any standard, for allowing folks in to the US these days. Used to be there was a quota for each country. You needed a trade, a sponsor, a US address, be healthy, and much more.
Dearly departed Lord James Blairs, 425 Niu Street Honolulu. Provided the address. My sponsor was in CA. and had NZ connections.
