I've been using the BatteryMINDer Plus Charger Model 12117: 12V 1.33 AMP Charger-Maintainer-Desulfator with a couple of vehicles. I also have several 6V models for my antique tractors. No problems with any of them. They discontinued making them for 6V batteries.

Now I use NOCO GENIUS1, 1A Smart Car Battery Charger, 6V and 12V Automotive Charger, Battery Maintainer, Trickle Charger, Float Charger and Desulfator. You can select which voltage to use 6 or 12 volt. About $30 on Amazon.

I also like to get the quick disconnect wiring that you install to the battery terminals. Less hassle to disconnect the charger.
