I've cut a heck of a lot of aluminum sheet 1/8 to 1/2 inch thick using a carbide blade and a cheap skilsaw. Got the cheapest saw and blade that Ace hardware carried. Used it for more than ten years before it gave up. I would set the sheets on saw horses and apply WD40 to the underside so the blade was cutting into the lubricant. I would not reccomend an abrasive blade. Use safety glasses and a face shield and ear plugs. You will do fine
