2 days of silence.

Currently about 22 degrees out there and rain forecasted starting at 5PM.
It ends tomorrow about the same time. 24 hours of freezing rain. That is followed by another 12 hours of more train and slowly warming up. Friday at Midnight rolling into Saturday, it should get warm enough on my hill. Power crews will be out in force repairing down power lines all around 'Little Beirut' and I expect to be one of the last ones restored. A few small propane cans for one generator and a few buckets of gas for the other one. Downed power lines means no computer but the TV should still work.
Great time for the movie "Ice Station Zebra" or "The Thing".
Dr Zhivago could be another option.
