We too have a tendency to purchase as we see it if we want or need it. However I was not born with a golden spoon in my mouth and still tend to pinch pennys. At my age I have acquired too many "things" and have run out of space to put them! So I shy away from the stuff which I would "just like to have" as opposed to having a need for it.
