Recovery does not mean that you would be an invalid for 9 months. Some limited motion and activity will follow. I hate pain but I learned to work with limits.
Move to the pain, not through the pain. My left shoulder is not dominant. It now feels great!
My right shoulder is functional but not at full ROM (range of motion). I can do most tasks without pain, but I do have to recognize my limitations. Therapy has helped me with great improvements. Today was my first therapy date since before Christmas. I did my prescribed exorcises through the holidays. My therapist was satisfied. Me too!
Don't be stubborn! Don't live with the pain. Get some help. I believe.
