The 9N-17125-A was a Stewart Warner 4 1/2 ounce, released in 7/39, and could be cad or zinc plated. It was the straight plunger-type with a loop handle similar to the old Model A (and pre-war V-8's) gun. Was 10.31 approx. overall length closed.

The 9N-17125-B was a Lincoln 3 ounce angled-plunger type, released in 7/39, and could be cad or zinc plated. Both were released for service and both were obsoleted in 1945.

There were two economy lever guns which held a lot more grease: in 1943 the 2N-17125-A2 was released. It was a model CZ-2030 from Aro Equipment Corp. and was painted optional on cadmium plate.
The second lever gun was a model 4008 from Alemite with Alemite extension G53987, which had Ford number 2N-17128-A1 assigned to it, released in 1944. It was painted.

Now, I realize you did not ask this, but just to keep all this history all together, the 8N-17125 was released in 11/47. It had a domed-shape cast top with the straight outlet pipe tapped in at an angle. The reservoir plunger handle is a loop shape. Brand unknown. Painted.
