8N/Dearborn Grease Gun

I have a grease gun that is identical (including the Dearborn decal) to the one pictured in:

On the pump hanle is engraved/stamped BALCRANK, INC, CINCINNATTI, OH. Does anyone know if Balcrank made these for Dearborn or if an authentic Dearborn gun would have been made by Dearborn and had Dearborn stamped on the handle instead. Balcrank is still in business, but they make high dollar commercial lube systems now.
