Jeff...Ford didn't care much for patents.Ferguson took several Ford drawings to England and had them patented over there under his name.However,Ford agreed that the "pin" was Ferguson's idea,[for his wagon] and agreed to stop using it in production after 8n 237336 until 1966.Of course we all know the pin was almost worthless, so no big deal.
Ferguson modified the pin to make it a hinged pin [for the TO-20]and the Ferguson part number became 181-060-M91 and is still available today. don b
