Last year a new EPA rule went into affect.
Now all spray gun type painting ( non water based latex)) must be done in a spray booth with exhaust HEPA filter.
Even back yard jobs.
Spray cans are still legal, at least for now.
A new market has emerged with small spray booth. Even the body shops are using these small portable booths to perform rear and front bumper jobs.
