You should check into PPG's commercial line, CPC = Commercial Performance Coatings.
I use the AUE100 and AUE300 for many projects. Priced is very favorable compared to PPG's DCC urethane.
PPG recommends supplied air respirators for all their paints. Your jobber is steering you wrong if they are specifying a different respirator for urethanes vs. enamels. Both have Iso hardeners, protection would be no different.
