To start off Ford Tractor had at least 5 differing grays from 1939 thru the 1970's. They had the red from 8N's thru the 100's and then the 101 red. I have friends with the Dupont #24 Cup team and they had the Dupont techs in Delaware check the colors for me. Red was good but John Smiths was better, the gray was dead on as compared to parts removed from our 8N in 1950. Problem, paints are not the same today and can't replicate paint of 50+ years ago. Case in point, the Dupont gray was dead on in bright sunlight but in dim light it is surely greenish, original part is not. I also like colors from John Smiths site, gray is very nice but it is a little lighter than the original 8N gray. Best solution is pick a shade you like and use it, everyone does.
