Assuming the cause is an adjustment & not bent arms, just about all meaningful adjustments are made under the lift cover. You can "wing it" by following the instructions in the I&T FO4 manual.......or just buy Zane's adjusting jig. There are two problems w/ adjusting the linkage w/o the jig: 1) the adjustments give no consideration to normal wear in the parts & 2) some of the adjustments, as I recall, are measured in 64's! Hey, my eyes don't work below 1/4" !
IMHO.....get a jig.
