Good deal. Probably the root cause of all your issues. As stated, any decent reliable starter/alternator shop will have or can get the parts for these old Fords. By the way, ALL 8Ns have the starter pocket extra 2 O'Clock scallop machined in them. Earlier 9ns and 2Ns didn't all have it.
