I decided that it was time to remove my governor and clean off all the gunk. I started trying to remove the linkage from the arms but i cant figure out how they come off.
I thought they might be spring loaded and i would pull the linkage one way or another and the spring would compress and the linkage would come loose. I cant seem to compress the spring, if there is one.
I have a cotter key on the back of the linkage and what seems to be a Philips head screw. Would this remove the spring from inside the linkage and allow me to remove it?
