DED,,you might find the overhaul fairly easy and straight forward.It's a nice winter job while it's not in use.You can do it.But,,there are other things that could cause this problem so do a little checking first.Check the condition of all parts that connect to the steering out to the tires inbetween.You could have a great box but have other issues.Put the tractor on a "good" stand with the front end,wheels etc. and check for loosness,binding and wear issues.The repair manual is a swell thing to "work" you through the housing.AGAIN,,you can do it.
