One end of the bar is for clearing trash out of the tines the other end has a hook for straigtening the tines. Do you have the drive dog that goes on the PTO plus you will need a Howard reduction trans to slow the ground speed. I have a copy of the owner's handbook if you are interested I could make you a copy if I can get my printer to work again
