this maybe just starving out.. i would try enriching the idle mixture before i tried anything else. turn the idle mixture in. clockwise a quarter turn. see if it improves it. also run it at a pretty good load and tweek the high rpm needle for best power. this may cure your problem right off the bat.. been there ----done that. check timing as per bruce(va) instructions too.
