I got this tractor 4 years ago. It was a basket case, and hadn't run for 25 years. I worked on it between other projects - and got it to a place where I didn't think I had much more to do. A friend of mine wanted an 8N for some yard/field work and we agreed on a price - plus, he agreed to pay for any additional parts that might be necessary. I'm not the kind of guy who changes a price once it's been agreed to, so all of my extra labor isn't covered. But, I learned a lot and my friend is happy with the results, so far.
I still have a punch list of things to deal with, including the hydraulics (which don't work). Not sure why, since I rebuilt the pump and the lift cover. Hope it's something easy!
I'd like to have the project finished within a couple of weeks, since I have three other tractors that I want to tackle right away, and my archery business which is growing.
