The early 9N governors were different too and getting parts is nearly impossible. Before there was an oil line to it, prior to 1943, there were at least two governors, cast iron bodies. I'm just learning about them too so will get back with you on results. Jason knows as well as a few others. I did find a fella that says he can rebuild the early ones correctly so will call him later today.
