Thank you very much for the write up. I will start getting the parts together to drop the pump. I don't know what kind of maintenance was done so it would be nice to start out clean.
When I pulled the valve covers off to adjust there wasn't any sludge build up, I was very surprised. My grandpa said they were always changing oil in the tractor. The Industrial 226 should have lots of life left with only 2200 hours.
