I once had an old Jeep wagon with a L6 226 Hurricane motor.
Do you suppose that is the same motor??
I may have a brand new crank and bearing set laying around somewhere if it is...
The motor spun a bearing and I found one to swap into it before I ever replaced the crank in the orig..
The specs sound the same. Valves were set at .015 I thought.
