Might be clutch time. Ott's rebuild in town is toooo expensive. Unless you do a Kevlar clutch. Kevlar is graet to prevent the winter sitting stuck clutch game. I did the wife's Fergy and have had no problems. Once you split the tractor, use long bolts with the heads cut off to guide the machine back together.
I also used wedges on top of the front axle to keep the engine from tilting to the side while aligning it. Bottle jack under the engine to hold it up, Floor jack under the trans to slide it back when splitting the trans. You should be able to do this job in less than 4 hours.
