Sorry Larry, I'm not going to be able to help you. I have gone through the exact same process including Zanes Jig and I have the exact same problem. So you are not alone. If you get this resolved please post your fix. It has me stumped also.
In my case I was wondering if the cam that the "cam pin" rides on is worn. It is the one thing I did not check when I had everything apart.
